隨著科技進步現今鋼砲動力動輒三、四百匹,在速度上與感官刺激上卻時都獲得了滿足,但你真的需要又或者真能駕馭?個人認為馬力無需太大,搭配輕巧靈活的身手,只要開著它,路對了,無需神經緊繃摒住呼吸逼至極限,隨時能夠輕鬆得讓人嘴角上揚獲得滿足,才是鋼砲的本質,當然,如果要在直線跟人拼搏那又是另一回事。

Polo GTI除了超過百萬元不算平易近人的價格,其餘與Golf GTI相同的2.0升渦輪增壓引擎,200hp/32.6kgm最大動力、6.7秒百公里加速、六速雙離合器自手排等都符合鋼砲的條件,尤其又搭載MQB底盤模組系統、GTI運動化懸吊(車身降低15mm)、駕駛模式等,都讓人迫不及待想要試駕的誘因。

終於輪到我試駕了,儘管Polo GTI後扭力樑、17吋輪圈、懸吊阻尼設定等與兄長Golf GTI有所不同,不過低鳴的排氣聲浪仍讓人想躍躍欲事的衝動。隨著車輛進入彎道,立刻就發現Polo GTI與Golf GTI差異之處,拜科技配備與底盤所賜,各個駕駛Golf GTI就像是天生練武奇才又吃了大還丹增加五十年功力。而Polo GTI在彎中左切右殺,一開始或許無為之一振的驚艷,但經過幾番相處,懸吊柔和緩衝的抑制與帶點韌性,少了刻意造作反倒呈現鋼砲應有的原味,然而想開得飛快就各憑本事了。

當然筆者的技術與專業車手根本不在同一個水平,不過只要煞車點與入彎路線不要過於離譜,在循跡防滑等相關系統輔助下,Polo GTI個性相當圓融好相處,即使稍有犯錯也不會對你做出眼前出現人生跑馬燈的苛責。當然我能了解更強大的馬力扭力,可以讓速度與感官刺激度獲得提升,但若煞車、油門掌控技術不夠到位細膩,只會得到頻於修正、推頭等情況。反觀Polo GTI 200匹馬力搭配六速雙離合器自手排系統,速度能量湧現是非常自然無需有所防備,可以很輕鬆無壓力的享受車輛在賽道左扭右擺的樂趣,只有重煞車頭會扭動、17吋Continental PC6輪胎到後期抓地力下滑容易產生推頭外,多數情況仍讓人玩得不亦樂乎,就算跑上十來圈也不會累。

200匹馬力的Polo GTI在賽道上對於某些人來說或許不夠,但相信我當場景移至一般道路,200匹馬力絕對綽綽有餘。或許有人會說那為何不直上Golf GTI,Golf GTI很好,但好到有點不太真實,Polo GTI相對有著較真實的感受,同時也能檢視自身駕駛技術等級,還有別忘了那22萬元的價差,至少在這方面比較能夠通過你家財務大臣的審核。
