不得不承認,過去於設計創意上較為「被動」的Kymco,近年來展現大幅躍進,新世代Racing如此,眼前主角AK550更是如此。如果你喜愛運動型速克達的銳利、前衛與飽滿肌肉感,那AK550絕對可以餵飽你,再加上充滿辨識度的LED燈組造型,與包含排氣管防燙蓋在內的細節質感,要於外型上挑惕,AK550很難讓你找到攻擊點。

發動引擎,炫目的三環儀表於眼前展開,科技感與車身造型完美呼應,中央的Noodoe車聯網系統提供了高度的儀表客製化,同時也提供了更多元的用車便利性,但可惜的,在不到一天的試車時程中,這不是此行重點,那飽滿且震撼、近似於改裝排氣管的排氣聲浪,督促著還在穿戴裝備的我,重點,是從轉下油門開始。

平心而論,身高170cm的我,對於這種動輒超過200kg的大型速克達是有些抗拒的,受限於車身結構與坐墊造型,過去與此類車款的接觸經驗總是需要墊著腳尖同時也提著心吊著膽撐住車身,但跨上了AK550之後,此擔憂心情去了一大半,不光只是785mm的友善座高,還包含了內收的坐墊造型與車身寬度,雖然停駐時仍無法雙腳平踏,但多了一分腳掌與地的接觸,心裡自然就多了一分踏實與安心。

雖然是陰雨綿綿的天氣,但為了一探究竟,切換至全動力模式出發,扭下油門,讓人驚喜的不光只是從怠速就很讓人陶醉的排氣聲浪,還包含那近似於改裝傳動的力量傳輸,550.4c.c.的直列雙缸汽油引擎中,爆發出的53.5ps馬力相當直接的經過傳動透過輪胎傳遞至地面再反饋至扯動騎士的G力,這過程幾乎沒有太多的遲疑,無論何時,轉下油門,這明顯的推力都能源源不絕,縱使你切換至雨天模式,但直接感還是毫不打折,只不過加速力道稍緩,讓人更能於濕滑路面掌控,在雨勢更大的時候,這雨天模式更是展現親和力。

感到驚喜的點,還包含鋁合金車架與49:51的前後配重,讓AK550無論於加減速過程的車身重心轉移,到攻彎時的紮實回饋,甚至在急剎車時的車身剛性,都展現過去在Kymco大型速克達上所感受不到的高水準,縱使把比拼舞台從自家拉到了國際上,面對著一票實力加強、擁有鐵粉一堆的資深運動型速克達,身為後追者AK550的動態實力,還是有直接開火對幹的豪氣。

高規格的車身條件,從引擎輸出、聲浪調校、制動規格、車架格局等一一展現,整合出的實力也毫不打折的讓騎士直接感受到位,AK550清楚展現了Kymco半世紀於速克達車款的造車實力,更足以代表台灣向世界大型速克達車壇發聲。當然,在此之前,Kymco這品牌有沒有資格成為你心中的台灣代表隊,亦或你還是認為國外的月亮比較圓,這品牌的價值面,不在此次短促的金門試車過程中,但望著砲口指向對岸的戰車,心理的想法,似乎更為清楚明瞭了些。
